In build 19 we changed the core language from C to C++. It simplified some pieces of code, and will allow us to embed some code (for example, the xml parser) into the core. The binary size practically remained the same though.
Also:
- now all core protocols use the built-in SSL module;
- clist_modern was significantly redesigned;
- AIM protocol code was changed. Important note: if you previously changed the login port from the default value, you will need to restore that custom value manually, cause build 19 will reset the port number.
Miranda IM v0.8.0 Build #20 [05*08*2008]
Build #20 contains nothing but two critical bug fixes:
- crash in clist modern soon after start;
- the invisible crash in Jabber, which causes a protocol not to respond on any command until the restart.
Miranda IM v0.8.0 Build #21 [27*08*2008]
We’re sorry about the long delay, but the XML parser embedding took more time than we expected. So we’ve got now the built-in XML parser, and Jabber was rewritten to use it. Unfortunately there’s a serious risk of various glitches in Jabber, cause there were a lot of changes. Please report problems with Jabber, and we’ll fix them asap.
Also in build 21:
- some serious fixes for MSN;
- minor bugfixes for the core.
Miranda IM v0.8.0 Build #22 [10*09*2008]
Build 22 accumulates a bunch of small changes:
- changes in options pages;
- fixes for lockup in MSN+tabSRMM;
- fixes for Scriver & Gadu-Gadu protos;
- many other changes.
Miranda IM v0.8.0 Build #23 [09*10*2008]
Build #23 contains bugfixes only:
- a couple of nasty bugs was fixed in MSN, one of them might cause crashes;
- minor fixes for ICQ, Jabber & YAHOO protocols;
- minor changes & fixes for Scriver & tabSRMM.
Miranda IM v0.8.0 Build #24 [09*11*2008]
In build 24:
- significantly rewritten AIM & YAHOO protocols;
- some fixes for MSN protocol;
- some minor fixes for core.
Miranda IM v0.8.0 Build #25 [08*12*2008]
In build 25:
- rewritten menu core code (genmenu), with a lot of fixes;
- numerous fixes & improvements for AIM protocol;
- some minor fixes for IRC, Jabber, MSN & YAHOO;
- fixed ANSI version of Jabber;
- the whole bunch of another minor bugfixes.
